A simple scoring algorithm, applied consistently — not a "guess" at how you feel.
SYNQ doesn't start from a long questionnaire or sensors. You briefly describe how you feel — either by picking an icon or writing freely — and the internal engine computes two scores and instantly picks an audio profile.
1. Anxiety score (0–100)
The text is matched against keyword dictionaries at 3 intensity levels (high/medium/low) and against calm indicators. Each match adjusts a neutral baseline score (50), and text length and punctuation (e.g. multiple exclamation marks) matter too.
2. Sync score (0–100)
Measures how close you are to an optimal balance, and factors in a trend (whether your state is improving or worsening versus the previous session) and a circadian factor (time of day).
3. Audio profile selection
Based on the scores, the algorithm picks the base track, the binaural frequency (Hz), the tempo (BPM) and the recommended duration (6–15 minutes).

Sound types used
🎧 Binaural frequencies
A frequency difference between the left and right channel, which can induce a target brainwave frequency through resonance — Delta for deep sleep, Theta for relaxation, Alpha for calm alertness, Beta for cognitive stimulation.
🌊 Brown / Pink noise
Masking of external factors and muscular relaxation (brown noise), and improved sleep and focus (pink noise), used as layers over the base track.
